Errors on NTN Tenant Screening Reports
Mixed files are the most common type of tenant screening error. An example of a mixed file is when information that belongs to another individual get added to your report. This happens most often on criminal background checks and credit reports for people with common names. Criminal background checks are done using name and birthdate. So if someone has a similar name and has a criminal history, it could end up on your report by mistake.
Dispute NTN Screening Errors
If National Tenant Network reported inaccurate information about you, you have the right to dispute the information. Once you file a dispute NTN will have 30 days to investigate the information and make corrections.
