Motion to Dismiss in LexisNexis Class Action Denied
A class action lawsuit was brought by plaintiffs Keesha Goode and Victoria Goodman that claims LexisNexis classified certain retail workers as thieves in a database and distributed that information to current and prospective employers. The suit alleges that this practice was in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
LexisNexis made a motion to dismiss the suit, but the motion was denied in part and granted in part.
