Before you start working at Allied Universal, you’ll undergo a background check and drug screening. No matter where you are in the hiring process, Allied must have your consent before doing a background check.
You have the right to dispute errors on your Allied Universal background check.
To dispute your background check you will need to contact the company the created the report. This contact information should be supplied to you by Allied Universal.
Background check companies have 30 days to investigate your dispute and correct any errors.
Allied Universal currently uses Sterling Talent Solutions for background checks.
You may have a case and may be able to sue if any of the following happened:
- You lost a job due to errors on your background check
- Your job start date was delayed because of errors on your background check
- You missed out on a promotion because of errors on your background check
Each case is different. You may be able to sue the background check company and/or the company that used the false background check information against you.
